Description: Varity has white blonde hair. It is shoulder length and often kept tied back with a piece of string. He is very darkly tanned and has ice blue eyes. He still carries his boyish features but not the mentality. He was forced to grow up to fast in the raider camp. He has a scar that goes from the side of his right eye to his jaw. He hardly ever smiles which makes his face look very severe. He usually wears brown leather pants, with black leather boots that lace up to his knees, and tunic tops that can open in the front. He carries his father's sword strapped to his back, within easy reach of his long arms.

Personality: Varity is very hard to anger and keeps his calm most of the time. When he is angry he does not yell but he often frightens people with his cold stare. He is a loner and avoids people whenever possible. He takes whatever he is doing very seriously and does not have much of a sense of humor. He does not show many emotions to the outside world and keeps what little emotion he does have buried deeply inside of himself.

History: He was the son of a hold guard at Paradise River until he lost his father in a hunting accident at the age of 8. He kept the only thing his father truely own, which was a sword his father had specially made by a Master Smith. His father was the only thing that kept him in hold life because his mother died giving birth to him. She was a drudge. He neither wanted a life of drudgery nor the simple life of a guardsman, so he ran away. He wanted more adventure than what the hold could give. Only a few days after he had considered going back but got caught up in the wrong place at the wrong time and ended up in a camp of raiders. He did not much care for the life of a raider because he did not like killing people unless necessary but this life gave him the adventure he had wanted. He obtained the scar on his cheek when he was 11 because he tried to protect a woman that one of the raiders would have hurt. He lost the fight but still managed to give the woman enough time to get away. He was later captured during a raid by Mountain Song dragon riders. He was search while imprisoned and got to stand for a clutch. He surprisingly impressed a blue dragonette named Minkath. He has stayed out of trouble since Minkath hatched because he is afraid he will lose his dragon.

He made it through weyrling training with few difficulties and only graduated late because of his age.

Dragon Description: He is an average size blue. His color is a simple, pure dark-sky blue from nose to tail, with a slight lightening of the tone on his wing membranes.

Dragon Personality: He prefers to take his time unless he has something that he wants in his sights. If your in his was he will move you out. He does not mean to hurt anybody that gets in his way. Things just sometimes happens. He is usually calm and patient except when it comes to something he wants. He is very friendly and unlike Varity he prefers to be with others. When it comes to his duty as a dragon that usually comes first.

Strength's Weaknesses: He has a tendency to dive right in before he thinks about what he's doing especially if there is something he wants. That is both a strength and a weakness.
