Wingleader T'ken on Bronze Tadrith
Player Name: Madeleine
Persona's Name: T'ken
Age: 33
Rank: Bronzerider/Wingleader
Description: T'ken has golden brown hair and hazel eyes. His skin is bronze, partially from the sun and partially because of his naturally slightly darker skin. He stands at 6'1 and weighs 215 lbs. He has a bit of a broad frame, with a big chest though no potbelly. He tends to dress in dark green tops. He has a deep scar from Thread across his chest.
Personality: T'ken is arrogant, mainly. He's handsome to women, he knows it, and he shows it off every chance he gets. He does have some good leadership qualities. He's definitely not afraid to take charge of a situation and do what needs to be done. He gets annoyed if someone tries to order HIM around ... unless it's Aria.
Gender/preference: Male, Heterosexual
History: Terken was born
to Leyenna, a drudge, in a small cothold, Renashe, where everyone knew everyone
else. The identity of Terken's father was an open secret: Everyone knew it,
no one discussed it. Terken later learned that his father had been a traveling
raider who was presumably killed not long after he met Leyenna. Not one to cry
long, Leyenna took up with another drudge and within a Turn Terken had a sister.
By the time Terken was 10 he had five younger brothers and sisters. Leyenna
was a proud and independent woman, and she raised her eldest to be much the
same. Terken also inherited a bit of a stubborn streak from his father. He commanded
his brothers and sisters like the worst of older brothers. When it came time
for Terken to take some sort of trade, all he did was demand to go to the nearest
Weyr, Telgar. He was utterly certain that he would Impress and become a dragonrider.
He managed to go when he was 14. At first all he did was watch eagerly at Hatchings.
He wasn't even Searched until he was 16, but he Impressed the first time he
officially Stood. Tadrith was the first of the clutch, and his
personality was very similar to his rider's.
Terken became T'ken and started growing up a little. Once he graduated from
Weyrling training, he used the reputation of bronzeriders to his advantage.
He had no fewer than six bedpartners within the first year. He tended to 'keep'
girls for a few months, and then turn them out when he started getting bored
with them. But then Tadrith started winning greenflights. T'ken took up with
the riders if they were female. Disaster struck when T'ken met a girl who displayed
much of the same flirtation patterns as he did. He actually fell for her, began
to have feelings more serious than just idle flirting. When Tadrith lost the
next
flight of her green and she turned to the rider of the winner, T'ken was devastated.
He was 20 at the time, and it took a while for him to recover from that.
Within very little time T'ken was back to his old habits. Tadrith was old and
experienced enough that he could begin to seriously compete in the goldflights.
When he was 26, he requested a transfer to Southern Weyr in time to attempt
to fly the Senior Queen. He failed in that attempt, but he noticed the Junior
Queen Aria. He became almost obsessed with her. Tadrith would fly and win greens,
and T'ken would sleep with their riders until the next green came along. All
the while, he kept his eye on the prize.
Finally at the age of 31, T'ken became the mate of Aria when Tadrith won Monaryth's
flight. He soon discovered that all his longing had been for nothing. She wasn't
particularly different from any of his other mates, and she definitely didn't
have the same sort of feelings for him. After only one argument with her, he
decided not to push his luck. His obsession with her evaporated, though he's
still trying to get her to sleep with him willingly.
As the partner of Aria, T'ken became Mountain Song's first Weyrleader, though he didn't last long at the job. He was surprised with a boy named Ambron, a three-turn old whose mother had just died and left instructions to pass the boy to his father -- T'ken. Ambron was a real handful and kept T'ken very busy.
When Monaryth rose again, Tadrith lost, but T'ken wound up spending the night with a greenrider named Tikka. He enjoyed her company so much -- and the way that she was able to control Ambron -- that he asked her to move in, and she gladly accepted. He was surprised to have fallen in love with her, but not at all unhappy, especially when she gave birth to a daughter, Malisha.

Dragon's Name: Tadrith
Color: Bronze
Age: 16
Description: Tadrith is a very large bronze. He has bulky shoulders and a bulky build overall. His wingsails have spots on them,
while his body has a few patches of lighter color. He has minor Threadscores all over his body, and a deeper scar on his left shoulder.
Personality: Tadrith is slightly more reserved than his rider.
He'll still chase as many greens as possible, but he keeps a cooler
head and doesn't try to provoke arguments over leadership the way that T'ken does. He just sort of assumes that people will follow him because of
his rank and his rider. He's slightly lazy in that respect -- he lets T'ken earn respect for him.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Tadrith is one of the best long distance flyers Pern has to offer. He's never not made it through an entire Fall unless he was injured (or T'ken was).
