Description: Tall, lean, with short dark wavy hair and dark eyes. A swordsman's body from years of practice as a Guard, and then a Dragonrider. His features are finely-defined and perfect, save for a thin scar that begins above his right eyebrow and vanishes up into his black hairline.

Personality: Confident, often arrogant, but as good as he claims. He doesn't boast skills he does not have, and only boasts about said skills when provoked. Usually polite and well mannered, also well spoken, though sometimes sharp witted. His arrogance sometimes gets in the way of his charisma and has not lessened with age, only found more reasons for being with experience.

History: The Son of Master Guardsman Hethar and a Journeywoman Healer, Sonar was trained in swordsmanship and tactics from the age of five, his father not making him wait, eager as he was. As a child, he was good friends with Steira, the Holder's daughter, who liked to train with the Guards. When he was thirteen, Sonar found himself developing a crush on her but, proud, wouldn't admit it, though Steira figured it out and admitted to similar feelings. Her parents noticed, however, and stepped in. Sonar finally got Steira to tell him why. Suddenly, Sonar found Steira's actions to him very different. She avoided him further, and began to flirt with someone else. Sonar got tired of it, and confronted her. She told him she didn't have feelings for him any more and, hurt, he exploded. When the fight was over, he refused to ever go near her again and focused on his training with the Guards. His confidence grew, and he was Journeyman by fifteen.

Being picked as a Candidate just before he turned 20 was a very unexpected surprise, but he Impressed his first time on the sands, to a very large brown dragon who announced himself as Silverswrath. He Impressed and did his Weyrling training at Ista Weyr, but transferred to Igen right after graduating. There he ran into Steira again, now a Greenrider. Their reunion was a violent shouting match that echoed across the Weyr-bowl. Finding his injured feelings resurfacing after turns smashed down, S'nar got -what he felt- was rightful justice and what he deserved. During Steira's green's next flight, he got to her first in the flight weyr, even in front of the Rider he knew Steira was interested in. Once he'd had her, he left her there with Z'ai.

Not long after he and Silverswrath were in a bad accident trying to maneuver during threadfall in fog and crashed badly. S'nar was in intensive care in the Infirmary for months, and Silverswrath not much better off. S'nar came out of it with a scar on his head, though it's effects on his looks only enhanced them with a rakish line running up into his hair. Silverswrath had minimal scarring on his injured upper-tail, though he was grounded for months until it healed enough for him to balance properly. During recovery, S'nar and Silverswrath transferred to Monaco Bay Weyr to recover in the warmth physically, and emotionally as S'nar's damaged pride made it difficult for him to handle the suddenly pitying looks from Riders who had looked at him with respect, or even dislike. After almost fifteen turns at Monaco Bay the pair was ready to try a new challenge. Ready to forget the past and finally put behind them those who recalled their weak days, the Brown pair headed for Mountain Song Weyr.

Description. A very dark brown, with lighter streaks highlighting his wings. A large, powerful, but not overly bulky dragon.
Personality: As confident as S'nar, but with a little less ego. Silverswrath is always ready for threadfall or anything that allows him to show himself at his best, and he's certainly vain, just without his Rider's prejudices.
