Description: About 5'4" and still growing. He's somewhat muscular from having to take care of himself. He has short brown hair and deep brown eyes. He likes to wear different colors, usually those that make him stand out a bit.

Personality: Very independent and intelligent for his age, likes helping out when he can, is always on the look out for a stranger, especially female strangers.

History: Robard grew up on the coast of the Southern Continent, the son of a fisherman and a healer. When he was around 10, something happened in his hold. There was a lot of theiving and a couple of brutal murders. He didn't see any of the murders due to working with his father, but shortly after, his sister disappeared, seemingly without a trace. No body was ever found, but there was a little blood in one cave a little ways from the hold. It wasn't enough to have killed anyone and Robard suspected that it belonged to his sister. He looked around the area where the blood was found on some of his days off, but found no trace other than that. For about a Turn, he was somewhat content to be with his family in the hold, but then couldn't take it any longer. Using gifts and knowledge that he had received, including a flit he had gotten as a reward for working as hard as an adult at such a young age, he went in search of his sister. Being a Turn behind her was tough, although he did get hints from different holds along the way. Finally, he got to the last place he ever heard of, Mountain Song Weyr. Once at the Weyr, Robard was Searched and began Candidate duties. He forgot about his Searchrider's idea of getting someone to sketch his sister for about three weeks, then remembered. He went off to the Harper Hall, where he ran into Cari, who helped him find a sketch artist, L'kar. As Robard described and L'kar sketched, L'kar recognized Robard's sister as the Bluerider Fanita. Unfortunately, Fanita was on a trip at the time and so he didn't get to contact her. When Hatching came, Robard Impressed a beautiful deep, firey bronze named Sarcasth and became R'bard. Sarcasth was as independent and sassy as R'bard.

Pets: Seeker, Blue flit, age: 2. Seeker is a bright blue all over, with touches of a lighter blue around his eyes. He often acts as a lookout for Robard, especially on their journies and is fairly gentle.
