Rega

Description: medium build, 5'8" tall, black hair and brown eyes, loves to wear green clothes that match her dragon's hide.

Personality: Rega is friendly, wanting to make new friends. She can be snippy when tired. She is fairly protective of her daughter, Mypa, except when it comes to leaving her in the Creche at times.

History: Rega grew up in a small Hold up North, the daughter of two weavers. Her life in the Hold was fairly normal as she learned the craft of her parents. She was Searched at 16 by the nearby Weyr and Impressed Milagrath, a beautiful green at her second Hatching. When she was 23, she broke a toe when a heavy bag that she was moving slipped and fell right onto it. This caused her to be grounded for 8 weeks. Only a few days after her injury, Milagrath flew at the right time for Rega to get pregnant. She gave birth to Mypa on her 24th birthingday 9 months later. She was able to raise Mypa with the help of her fellow riders and the people in the lower caverns. When Mypa was 5 Turns old, Rega was given a special present of two firelizard eggs by her family. When the eggs were ready to hatch, Rega got the necessary meat ready and sat near them. Mypa was being fussy that day and wanted to sit on her mother's lap. She would not let Rega rest until she was up on her lap. Just then, the first egg hatched, and Rega, holding Mypa with one arm and feeding the brown hatchling with the other, had her hands full when the other one hatched. Mypa looked at her mom and looked back at the little green. She then took meat from the bowl nearby and copied her mom, feeding the green hatchling. Before Rega knew it, the two had bonded. Rega couldn't do anything about it and so taught Mypa how to care for her new friend. A Turn later, partially due to overcrowding, Rega was transferred, with Mypa, to Mountain Song to start a new life.

Pets: Bret, brown firelizard, 1 Turn old. Bret is a fun brown who likes to play tricks. He does listen to Rega when she tells him to do something, but can be mischeivious otherwise. He is almost the opposite of his sister, Gee.

Strength's Weaknesses: Her talkativeness can be distracting, but she can get it under control. Otherwise, she is quick and agile.
