Description: Of medium height (about 5' 8''), and slender but not scrawny (about 140lbs), Morgenna has long, cinnamon-brown hair flecked with gold, that is sprinkled with little streaks of gray, and sharp bright-green eyes. She is usually in skirts, though the colors vary all over the spectrum, from browns to bright colors, depending on her mood, and if she is working or not.

Personality: Stubborn and confident, but a good bedside manner, she's no-nonsense with people who should know better, but kind as can be with those that need it. She was quite ambitious and driven when younger, but is settled and confident in her abilities now, and doesn't see the need to work herself to exhaustion every day of the sevenday.

History: Raised at Nerat Hold, daughter of a healer and a weaver, Morgenna always showed a propensity for healing. Often helping with sick animals, or making other kids feel better when they were upset and bringing them to the healer when they were hurt. She went to Healer Hall when she was thirteen, and then went to Southern Boll Hold when she became a Journeyman. Then, several years later, she transferred to Igen Weyr, just after her thirtieth birthday. She was there for several years, working hard as always. There she met Daverk, who was also a Journeyman. They were casual friends, though she saw him little, she thought he was quite nice looking. Though he was entirely focused on his work. When he achieved Master however, he started showing more interest -as in actual interest- in woman. They began spending more time together, and Morgenna found herself falling for him. Then, he met and fell for Greenrider Verilia. Morgenna did not know about Verilia until she caught them kissing one evening. She chewed him out right there for not being brave enough to tell her the truth, not knowing that it was only the first time they had kissed, andhadn't been planned on their part. She figured it out later, but by then it was too late, and she was too embarassed to speak with him. She transferred to Tillek Hold until she finished her Journeymanship. Then, when she was made Master, she returned to the Healer Hall until she was asked to go south to Southern Weyr. There, she ran into Daverk again. Slowly they had begun to forgive and return to a sort of friendship, when he was transferred again to Monaco Bay Weyr to fill a gap in their dragonhealer staff.

Morgenna continued her work, if a little less ready to smile, keeping her pain at the second loss of him to herself, never letting on. After a time, she transferred back to Tillek Hold, and then on to Telgar Weyr, until finally she returned to the Healer Hall, thinking to settle there permanently. Then she was asked to go to Mountain Song Weyr. Never one to ignore a need, Morgenna went.

Morgenna dove into her work, as usual, tackling it all with full vigor that belied her age. She took over the Weyr Infirmary when Master Joaquin transferred out a couple of turns later.

She was entirely unprepared for what happened just before turn's end in 4676.The Weyr recieved a new Master Dragonhealer transfer... Daverk! The two met as usual, trading off snarky comments. The intervening turns had not made things easier on their relationship, given that he'd never written. Morgenna wasn't entirely sure how to handle it. It would be easier if she'd ever 'fully' gotten over the sharding man!
