Description: Her hair is darker than that of her sisters, being closer to a light, shimmer-golden brown than Inara's near-white and Tilli's soft gold, and her eyes are a surprisingly *dark* blue. She's short, standing only 4' 11'', and is thin, though with a well-developed woman's figure, petite as it is. She tends to dress  in gowns that are functional and simple, though stylish. The colors are usually functional earthtones, though light lavenders, sky blues, and other medium-tone colors brighten up her wardrobe. 

Personality: Miline is quiet, and trained up by her mother to be perfectly proper. She has grown out of hardly ever offering up her own opinion on anything into a much more opinionated woman, though she's quite good at diplomatically keeping those opinions to herself when that is the smart thing to do. Formerly shy around males, Miline has gotten over them, taking any attraction she feels logically and not jumping into things without talking to the boy in question. She occasionally worries about the match her mother may try to make for her in a few years if she doesn't Impress. Her main skills -because of her mother- are embroidery, some ability in handling the Lady's position in a Hold, and she is fairly decent at reading and writing, and figuring. She is confident in her own ability to learn things she does not yet know, and has picked up other skills in her two turns as a Candidate, being capable in the beginning aspects of several crafts, though most specifically Woodworking learned from a fellow Candidate. Considerate of others feelings, she also finds herself applying her reasoning to help others sometimes, and would love to have the chance to use what she knows of Holder politics to help the Weyr. She has a head for analyzing problems in social and political situations and coming up with solutions.

History: Miline is the youngest daughter of Crom Hold, and Lady Inara and Lady Tilli's younger sister. Being the last child in their mother's care, she has had to deal with her mother's efforts to make her a marital prospect. The Lady of Crom is determined to make at least one match with a major Northern Hold, still holding to a rather antiquated belief that the Northern Hold bloodlines are -in some way- superior for their long lineage. Miline would be very interested in avoiding that fate entirely, but had not dared to disobey, until Miline was Searched at her sister Tilli's wedding. At Southern Weyr she began to be more involved, and grow in confidence. She made friends, and was enjoying life. Then another Candidate started taunting her, being mean, and threatening her, wanting her to agree to sleep with him, mostly because she was a Holder's daughter. The other Candidate was expelled from the Weyr, but Miline was shaken. She asked to be transferred, and it was allowed that she should go to Mountain Song, which was now the Weyr that oversaw the Holds of her two sisters. Miline was very happy with this change. She impressed at the next hatching, to Green Lurath.

Miline loved Weyrlinghood. She was a natural, much against what her parents would have hoped or expected. She and Lurath were a good team. Perhaps to Miline's own chaigrin, she 'did' end up falling in love. Though not with some holder boy or dragonrider. She fell for a Journeyman Farmcrafter who had come to Mountain Song to planet and tend the Weyr's new gardens. After her graduation, having not managed to have him there for her dragon's first flight, Miline made it as clear as possible how interested she still was.
