Lord Lerral and Lady Inara of Quartz River Hold

Descriptions: Lerral is tall and thin (5'11'', 180lbs) with lighter brown coloring, and hazel eyes. He prefers sensible clothing to anything remotely fashionable that any more foppish young holder might prefer. Other than the hold colors, he is usually found in simple brown, green, or white clothing.

Inara is very petite (5'2'', 100lbs), with hair so lightly golden it almost appears white, fair complexion, and eyes of a pale ice-blue. Her features are as delicately sculpted as a small statue. She tends to wear lots of colors, though not extremely BOLD colors, so she doesn't appear entirely pale! 

Personalities: Lerral has his mother's patience, but a softer version of his father's jovial nature. He is more physically active than his father, who was heavier set. He is not particularly fond of power, respecting it and treating it carefully. He gets along well with just about everyone in the Hold.

Inara, while she looks delicate, has a strong spirit, and a sensible head on her shoulders. She is even tempered, with a quiet sense of humor, and very eager to learn all there is about helping her new husband run the Hold when their time comes. Her favorite pass-times are reading, going out for a runner-back ride when she has the chance, and learning about all sorts of flowering plants.

History: Lerral was born the only child of the Holder's of Quartz River Hold. His childhood was fairly uneventful. He has been raised to take over the Hold when his parents die, or decide they've had enough, and has spent most of his free time on his hobby of raising runner beasts, which the Master Beast crafter at the Hold has always been glad to see. His parents have indulged him his love of animals, and were just glad he wasn't so totally focused on gaining control of the Hold as some Holder's sons can be. 

Inara is the second eldest daughter of the Holders at Crom. Her mother has always been rather distant with her children, fostering them out young, and has now begun marrying off her daughters. Inara wished her mother would be more attentive and loving, but it has never been so, and is unlikely to change. The only thing that mattered was that her daughters were polite, well brought up young ladies. The Lady Holder Crom did not even with to help with Inara's wedding! Inara spent most of her youth indoors, in lessons on Holder etiquette that bored her, but she learned them. She was also forced to do needlepoint and other "lady-like" activities.

They met at a Northern Gather and they fell for each other almost immediately. They conversed through letters for months, and then finally Lerral proposed the idea of marriage. His parents were ecstatic, while hers were simply glad to see her married well and no longer had to care for her. 

Only three months after their wedding, Inara announced that she was pregnant, and due in the fifth month. Lerral was ecstatic, but nervous. Inara went to visit another Hold in order to help the Lady out with planning a gathering of ladies which had all shown interest in marrying the new Lord, the Lady's son. As winter set in, Inara and Lerral remained there for several months, since they would have to fly home straight because of the baby. Inara, being of such small stature, and having married such a tall man, redefined becoming *great* with child, having to rest often, but helping out quite a bit with planning and organizing, and keeping the Lady company. Inara's sister, Tilli, was one of the girls who remained after the party, to take care of her sister, and won the heart of the Lady's son, becoming the Lady of the other Hold.  

The birth of Inara and Lerral's first child came unexpectedly early, at the very end of the fourth month, nearly an entire month early. Never the less, Inara gave birth to a healthy, and big, baby boy they named Linnar. They returned to Quartz River, where only a few months later, Inara found herself once again with child. This time, their mating produced twin boys. 

One turn later, Lerral's father, the then Lord of Quartz River, died after several years of a mysterious winter illness that effected his lungs. Lerral and Inara become the official Lord and Lady, with Lerral's mother remaining behind the scenes as an advisor, though while always very involved, she stays out of the public eye when it comes to politics.

After another few turns, Inara finally had a girl. Having three sisters, and no brothers, she was pleased to finally have a daughter.

Personality: A true lap cat. Her favorite activities are napping on laps, purring, and chasing mice, or a feather dangled on a string. She is Inara's companion, and always sleeps on the foot of the bed at night.

Description: He has his father's dark hair but his mother's blue eyes. As he's begun to hit growth spurts he alters between his father's thin build and being slightly heavier.
Personality: Temperment like his father's. calm, somewhat serious, usually well mannered. Already being raised toward inheriting, since he seems interested.

Description: Father's dark hair and eyes.
Personality: Also calm, and fairly quiet and contemplative.

Delamir: 12 (12.10.4665)
Description: Has his mother's fair coloring, though is slightly more tanned, and his hair is more of a dark blonde, and curly. blue eyes (the older of the two twins by about 2 minutes)
Personality: The scamp. good natured, but tends to get into mostly-harmless trouble.

Alahna: 7 (birthday 6.15.4670)
Description: Has long, sunny yellow curly hair, just a shade darker than her mother's, and blue eyes.
Personality: Sweet, though she occasionally acts mildly spoiled. Still young enough to have brat fits sometimes (where she pouts)

Chesa: 1 (12.12.4675)
Description: Has dark, curly hair, and hazel eyes.
Personality: A quiet, laid back baby most of the time, Chesa only gets loud when she feels there's something 'really' wrong.
