Description: 5'8", 140lbs. Long, golden-brown hair kept back by a silver barrette, blue-hazel eyes. Kerrin is very traditional in dress: long skirts and gowns. In the summer she wears lighter fabrics. She likes a variety of colors. 

Personality: Kerrin is a patient, caring woman. She does not anger easily, and is very loyal to family and friends. She tends to be soft-spoken, but can make herself heard when needed. She has been dedicated to her family, caring for her child, and fostering for others. She is very patient with children, but draws the line with adults. She has been running the kitchens and other daily activities for the small cot hold her husband runs while he works in the fields. She also tends to the children's teachings during the months there are no harpers around. She enjoys needlecrafts and practices several: embroidery, counted cross-stitch and needlepoint, though she has no formal training as a Weaver/tailor. She can have a sharp tongue, but never undeserved.

History: Kerrin grew up on her parents cothold in Southern Hold's territory, helping out with the hold chores and in the kitchens. She learned to be a good manager. She got her needlework skills from her grandmother. Her mother died when she was 14, and she took over managing the hold. She met Mikkale at a gather and he courted her. He was kind to her, and she was very much in love with him. When Mikkale was given a small cot hold, he asked her to marry him and come with him. She agreed. When she arrived at the cothold, Mikkale seemed to change. He became possesive of her, and jealous of any man that would talk, or even look at her. It made running the hold difficult, but Kerrin endured it. They had a child, Tamara after 2 turns. Mikkale didn't believe it was his at first, but Kerrin convinced him. As time passed Mikkale started to become abusive, first emotionally, and then physically. He refused to believe that Kerrin was not cheating on him, and was constantly watching her, trying to catch her. Kerrin decided to leave Mikkale after he threaten Tamara, now stricken by a blindness that no healer seems able to diagnois. She asked for help from the Lord and Lady of Southern, who helped her and Tamara transfer to Southern Weyr to work in the lower caverns.

Kerrin went to work in the kitchens, her skills from running a cothold, helped her move up in the lower cavern's heirarchy quickly. After she had been there a few months, Mikkale found her, and tried to convince her to return to the cothold with him. She refused and he then tried to strangle her, killing her bronze flit Akki in the process. He was caught trying to escape by the senior Queen at Southern and sent to the mines. Kerrin barely survived, but did recover.

Kerrin kept to the kitchens, working with the Headwoman keeping the stores stocked, and rarely leaving them or the lower caverns. After a few turns, while working a late night in the kitchens, she met a bronzerider, P'yoter. They became fast friends, and when, during a flight Albernith was participating in, Kerrin encountered P'yoter heading back to his weyr. She helped him back, and ended up bedding him. Soon after, P'yoter and Kerrin started to date, and became lovers and bedmates. After several turns together, they had two sons, Pieter and Dustin. They had spoken several times of moving to the new Weyr, and finally decided to make the move.
