Description: . Tall, well muscled, though a little stocky. His hair is a dark blonde, short, but with slightly-unruly loose curls. His eyes are brown, and he's considered handsome by every girl in Bel Morden, and most outside. He tends to dress in functional clothing -as simple as he can get away with without his mother throwing a fit- normally britches, boots, and a shirt and doublet or vest, and more natural colors: greens, browns, greys, white, black, and the occasional deep russet or dark blue.

Personality: Serious, but with a subtle sense of humor and fairly open minded. He takes things very seriously, and is an excellent swordsman, from spending time with the Guardsmen who lived in the Hold when he was growing up. His mind is keen, and well trained, so he excels at problem solving. Somewhat stolid, the only woman ever to get through to him did so almost unintentionally.... as it was to be an arranged marriage.

History: Eldest son of Lord Kilnair and Lady Helli of Belrok Cot Hold, Heilar was trained from his youngest days by his father to rule when his time came. Publically considered the heir, there was contention between him and his younger brother, whom his mother favored. Things were also complicated by the existance of Aquarina, a lovely young Lord Holder's daughter offered to *whomever inherets Belrok Hold.* So to all official sense, she was intended to Heilar, but his younger brother was also interested in her. At least, that was the case before. The brother ran off to form his *own* hold and dumped Aquarina, and Heilar and Aquarina, much to everyone's surprise, having spent a lot of time together on a less formal level, unexpectedly actually fell in love with each other. Finding they had more in common than anyone, especially them, ever thought. They eventually inherited the Hold, as Heilar's parents were both tragically killed in an avalanche. After a couple of turns of marriage, Heilar was blessed with fatherhood in the form of a son, which made him as happy as marrying Rina in the first place. His family felt complete.
