Description: 6'2", thin and lanky, 150 lbs, green eyes, charcoal black hair that is kept short in the back, but is shaggy and unruly in the front, with a blue headband to keep it from his eyes, but doesn't quite succeed. He wears a silver clip on his left ear, around the top. He dresses in a blue tunic that matches his headband, and a white sash over his left shoulder that ties at his right waist. His pants are dark brown and black boots. He is nearly blind in left eye, and wears a special lens to help him see that clips to his nose. 

Personality: Hakkai is quiet and soft spoken all of the time. He always seem to be happy and in a good mood. He is very patient and is always willing to help out. Even when he is upset with someone, it never shows outwardly. He is very knowledgeable, but gives the opposite impression, which usually ends up embarrassing anything that assumes so about him. He can have bouts of quiet depression, where his smiles are not as sincere, and appear sad. During these times, he is quiet, never saying more than a few words to anyone, and keeps to himself. The bouts can last a few days, but when they are over, he acts as if nothing has happened.

History: Hakkai was born at High Reaches Hold, the third son of a Master Weaver. At an early age however, he showed an interest and ability in being a Harper, and was encouraged by the Hold Harper toward the craft. At ten he was sent to the Harper Hall, where he studied, and gained his Journeyman knots. At the age of twenty, he met a girl, a journeyman healer, and the two soon fell in love. After a few turns they married and had a child, a son. But before their son turned one, tragedy struck. At a gather at Fort Hold, Hakkai left his wife and son for only a moment to get them drinks. when he returned they were gone. They're bodies were found a few candlemarks later. Both had been stabbed to death. This was a blow to the young journeyman, as there seemed to be no rhyme or reason for the murders, and they killers were never found. Hakkai spent several turns in therapy at the Healer Hall, all the while continuing his Harper studies. He continued to work for his Mastership, as his craft was all he had now. He never began romantically interested in another woman again, and their unsolved murders still haunt him. He studied in music composition, composing many new pieces for the Hall as well as helping to preserve many older pieces. He had an uncanny ear for sound, composing being as easy for him as speaking. He received his Mastership at 41, and has been assigned to be the new Composition Master for the Craft hall being built at Mountain Song Weyr.

Personality: Jeep is a lot like his master, quiet and helpful. He never leaves Hakkai's side and is always on his shoulder. His name comes from the sound he makes, more of a 'jeep', than a chirping that most other flits make.
