Desc: 5'10", thin and lanky, almost awkward looking, long black hair that he keeps back in a runner tail, and dark brown eyes. Gojyo likes to dress in layered clothes with vests and belts. He likes dark red/wine/burgandy colors, but makes sure at the same time that everything he wears doesn't clash.

Personality: Gojyo is rather strong willed and independent. He is very protective by nature to those that are weaker or unable to defend themselves, and will throw himself into a situation with being asked. This trait tends to get him in trouble, and into more fights than usual, but if he can help someone else, then he thinks it was worth it. He is a hard worker, and loves his craft.

History: Gojyo was born to a family of tanners living in a small cothold near Paradise River Hold. He started learning his craft from an early age from his father and older brother. He had a younger sister as well, but never minded being in the middle. The family had lived happily in their cothold until Lord Borand took a liking to his mother and sister. His father did his best to keep the Lord Holder at bay, keeping his wife and daughter out of the Hold and the Lord's reach. But one morning, two guards were sent by the Lord himself to being mother and daughter to the Hold proper. Gojyo's father resisted, and a fight broke out between the men and the guards, with Gojyo trying to protect his sister. The tanners did their best, but were no match for the better trained guards. Gojyo's father and brother were killed, but in the process, his mother and sister were also fatally injured. Gojyo, at his older brother's insistance escaped to get help. The guards, not wanting to get in trouble with their Lord for their failure, fabricated a story that Gojyo had killed his own family in a fit of rage, and quickly had the word spread to the other holds. Gojyo remained in the wilds, trying to stay one step ahead of the guards that were searching for him.
