Description: As striking as her older brother B'ren, Gitasi wears her long brown hair up, pulling the long strands away from her face to give it an overall tight look. She is a little above average height, and stands graceful and elegant. She likes to wear tight-fitting clothes that compliment her light, seafoam green eyes. She gives the impression of being older than her age, both in the confident way she carries herself and the way she dresses.

Personality: Gitasi is open about her sexual attraction, not even trying to hide it. She likes to play coy with men, acting hard-to-get and preferring to have them chase her. When they catch her, she turns the tables and is suddenly in control of just about every aspect of the encounter. She has gotten a little arrogant about her 'conquests', as she has pretty much gotten every man she's ever set out to get. Recently, however, she's become a little more introspective because of her miscarriage, and even briefly entertained thoughts of changing her lifestyle. Other women want little to do with Gitasi, as she has a tendency to draw all the male attention in the area away. The only real friends she's ever had have been homosexual, so they don't feel threatened by her.

History: Gitasi was born at Igen Weyr. Her mother, Journeywoman Healer Mikki, died giving birth to her. Soon after, her father N'der's bronze Kralth won Jr. Weyrwoman Erinye's gold, Finarth. Erinye's weyrmate, P'num, became so enraged that he struck Erinye. N'der challenged him and wound up killing P'num.

Gitasi was in the charge of the creche mother, and was far too young to understand why Erinye's daughter Perianel spurned both her and her brother Biaren. Perianel Impressed when Gitasi was 9, and not long after the siblings were apprenticed -- Biaren to a Healer, Gitasi to a Dragonhealer. Later, they both went to Ista Weyr on the recommendation of a Master Healer who was a friend of their father's. At a remarkably young age, both Biaren and Gitasi were already learning how to entice the opposite sex. Gitasi made friends with a fellow Dragonhealer named Rania, who got involved with her brother. Soon after Rania left, the Master Dragonhealer decided that Gitasi would be better off at a different Weyr, and she was transferred to High Reaches.

Gitasi was 16 when she arrived at High Reaches, and had just come into her prime. She started with the low-rankers and worked her way up to a bronzerider, K'zean, who had just lost the Senior Weyrwoman's flight and was a Wingleader again. She found herself cutting out her other lovers and spending more time with him. He even gave her a wher egg as a present, which turned out to be a green. Gitasi began to look at him in a different light than she had every other man she'd been with, and he began hinting that he might like to settle down and start a family. Then Gitasi got pregnant, a revelation that shook her to the core. She hadn't seriously considered K'zean's hints that he might like to settle down with her, and retreated from him without explanation, concealing her pregnancy from him. Unfortunately, when Gitasi miscarried in the fifth month of her pregnancy, K'zean found out and was hurt. Gitasi was in tears after he left, as she'd fallen in love with him without even knowing it. One of her former lovers, a bluerider, came to visit and informed her that she'd been Searched by his blue long ago, but never informed because of the rules governing Candidate behavior. He gave her an out, a reason to change her ways and leave the Weyr. As soon as she'd recovered from her miscarriage, she was registered as a Candidate and transferred to Mountain Song Weyr to be with her brother. The fact that Perianel was there didn't bother her.

Gitasi went through Candidacy quietly, Impressing green Calliath her first Hatching at the Weyr. She was glad to have her life take a new direction. However, she learned at Turn's End that K'zean had transferred there. He didn't seem to want to see her anymore. She had expected this, but was still hurt by it.

Pets: Zeal, a green wher, 1 turn old. Zeal is very energetic and has a bright green hide with a few darker patches.

Description: Delicate yet large, Calliath's hide is a frosty, pale green. She has more bulk around her midsection than her legs, so she looks like she shouldn't be able to hold herself up -- yet she does. Patches of darker green show through some places on her hide, giving her the impression of a frost-covered patch of grass.
Personality: Calliath wants to know *everything*. She's not necessarily a gossip, just innately curious, and excited to learn new things. She's not too fond of males right now, but that will change as she grows up.
