Description: Evarton is about 5'10" with clear, almost unblemished skin of a very light brown color. He has dark brown hair and light brown eyes. He has a relatively skinny build, but does not look underfed. Both he and his twin Olivar are considered handsome, and attract females wherever they go. Evarton has a dark brown birthmark on his back, right between his shoulder-blades. He dresses formally most of the time, as his parents have told him to maintain a "professional" appearance.

Personality: Evarton is the quieter of the two. He speaks up less often than Olivar, even though they usually have the same ideas. Evarton just doesn't get the words out of his mouth fast enough. He has become a good actor, putting on a show for his parents by acting like he enjoyed all the 'heir' type activities even though he didn't really. Evarton doesn't really want to be the Heir, but he's never been able to communicate that to his parents or even Olivar. It's the only thing he's kept from his twin. Otherwise, he tells Olivar everything. He has a few friends, but he's never gotten that close to anyone because of his deep bond with his twin. They really do know when something happens to the other.

History: Evarton was born 3 minutes after Olivar. Their mother, Lady Koessy, was surprised by the identical twins, but quickly adjusted to the situation. Evarton and Olivar were completely inseparable growing up. They refused to do things without the other one. As they got older, their personalities came out, so that they did begin to separate and not spend as much time together. They were still extremely close and told each other everything. Lord Keliron, their father, tried to give them each equal instruction in being the Heir to the hold, and one day running it. Evarton tried to display enthusiasm for the prospect even though he'd rather Olivar inherited. And so, their father was unable to name a definite Heir. Things changed when a Searchdragon came to the Hold. The dragon picked out Olivar as a Candidate for the clutch at the new Weyr, Mountain Song. Olivar didn't want to go, and that night Evarton finally confessed to his twin that he didn't really want to be the Heir. The boys worked out a plan that would allow them to switch identities. Evarton would go to the Weyr and be a Candidate, while Olivar would stay at the Hold and get very formal Heir training. The plan would fall apart once Evarton Impressed, but it would be too late to change things then. Evarton and Olivar practiced being each other and got tips from the other one, and then Evarton left for Mountain Song.

Evarton slid into being his brother with only a little bit of difficulty, and until the Hatching, the only person who discovered the deception was a fellow Candidate named Jenna, whom Evarton had known Turns before. He was very attracted to Jenna (especially after an incident involving odd berries) and chose to spend as much time with her as possible, even after he Impressed Rikinath and became E'ton and she became a goldrider.

At the Hatching, there was a frightening moment when his father discovered the truth, but E'ton knew that Olivar would pay for the deception more than he would. Six months after his Impression, Olivar *and his pregnant wife* Impressed. The twins were reunited, but the six months apart had changed both of them, and they didn't settle back into their old friendship as easy. E'ton has also been seeing less of Jenna, which is worrying him, but he still thinks that they can work things out.

E'ton's worries about Jenna turned out to be false, as the two of them only grew closer during their Weyrling training. E'ton supported Jenna when Vinyarth rose and she was uncertain, even when Rikinath didn't catch her gold. Afterwards, she talked to him about her past, and E'ton resolved to stand by her and help her any way she needed.

Description: At first glance, Rikinath appears to be a black dragon. But then it becomes obvious that his hide is two different tones ofdark brown, one being slightly redder than the other. He is small and a little bit undersized.

Personality: Inquisitive and curious, and prone to taking things from E'ton's mind that he wouldn't necessarily want to share with others. Loves to talk, whether it be to his rider or to another dragon, or even to some other human. Mostly he likes to talk about E'ton.

Strengths/Weaknesses: He's too fond of his own mindvoice sometimes, but he'll probably be a good, fast brown when he gets older.
