Desc: 5'3", thin and looking not well nourished. Dark golden blonde hair falls messily into his face, and is tied into a braid down his back. His eyes are two different colors; green and blue. He dresses in a black tunic and pants, and a red jacket with deep pockets. His clothes are often dirty, and tattered on the cuffs of the pants and tunic. He keeps a case on a chain on his belt for quick access. He carries a satchel with all his herbs, perfumes and other potions/elixirs that he sells.

Personality: Elrick can be a very outgoing and playful boy, but only when he is around others he knows and trust. When he is around strangers, he is more quiet and guarded. He avoids making direct eye contact unless it is absolutely necessary. When working on his craft, he can be very intense, often forgetting all else until he finishes or can't make any further headway. This habit has affected his diet and left him smaller and thinner than other boys his age. He believes he is cursed with bad luck.

History: Elrick was born at Cove Hold. His father was a healer and his mother worked in the hold. Everything was fine in his life for the first couple of turns. He had a little brother Alfos,2 turns younger. The boys grew up getting along with their family and helping out their father collecting, labeling, and mixing herbs. When Elrick was 7, something happened to his father. He never returned from a hunting trip for herbs. Before this, things were whispered around the hold about Elrick and different colored eyes. With the mysterious disappearance of his father, people began speaking up more loudly about Elrick being bad luck. Elrick's mother Tisha, ignored these rumors, and live continued on for the family. Elrick studied his father's copious notes and became almost as good as his father had been. Then bad luck struck again when Tisha became sick, and couldn't work in the Hold anymore. Talk of the family's bad luck grew, the blame being put squarely on Elrick's shoulders, as well as several other mishaps in the Hold. People avoided them all, and it became more difficult for them to live. Rather than endure any more of it and to help his brother and sister, Elrick left the hold and travelled around the east part of the Southern continent, selling his herbs and elixirs, especially to smaller cot holds that didn't have a regular healer. All the marks he made, he sent home through his pet flit Kimera, which he happened around as a hatchling and impressed. He stopped at Cove Hold to see his family briefly before he headed west.
