Personality: Demona is confident, strong-willed, and somewhat jaded. She doesn't trust easily, especially men, but once that trust is gained, she is a staunch and loyal friend. She has become skilled with small weapons, such as daggers, but can use anything small and sharp. She does not shirk from responsibility, and is a doer. She tends to act before thinking in emergencies, but has the sense not to do anything that would hurt another. She loves her craft, having grown up with it, and looks forward to becoming a Journeyman.

History: Demona was the third child and oldest daughter to a Tallow crafter and his wife from a cothold near Southern Hold. She, her younger sister and two older brothers worked with their father and mother making candles for Southern Hold and the Weyr. When Demona was 12, she was sent on her first trip to the Weyr with the tithe. While she was gone, her family, and the entire cothold was killed by raiders. Her absence was her only saving grace. Demona had nowhere to go, but a crafter at the Weyr took pity on her, and took her in. He finished her fostering and let her continue in her family's craft. She was searched a few turns later and impressed Starseth. She went through weyrling training trying to balance her craft and her dragon, but eventually had to give up her craft. Though she still daubled in it for trading purposes. While at the Weyr, she met a bronzerider, R'oar of Alejath. She was attracted to him immediately, and a friendship grew between them, with an undercurrent of sexual tension brewing beneath. Though it wasn't all consuming, Demona still searched for the killers of her family. Her inquiries led her to a suprising revelation: R'oar was with the party that had killed her family, and may even had killed some of them herself. Conflicting emotions tore through her, but she never revealed to R'oar that she knew what he had done, and continued to be friends with him. She transferred to Mountain Song to escape the overcrowding at Southern.
