Description: A stick of a girl, she is at the age where her body is all angles and no fat. Her hair is a light brown, or in the summer a dark blonde, with just a hint of a wave. Her eyes are a smoky grey color. Datsieli is still growing, so she hasn't reached her full height yet, and will probably fill out more as she gets older.

Personality: Datsieli is a bundle of energy. She loves to talk and have people talk to her. She loves to have a lot of friends, and when she's bored, she gets sulky. She's only just begun to grow up and become more mature. For the most part, though, she's outgoing, pranksterish, lively, and generally gets what she wants. What's making her grow up is being away from Igen, where she's spent her entire life. She's loud and extremely opinionated.

History: Datsieli is one of a set of triplets. Her mother, Steira of green Dablith, had a rocky relationship with S'nar of brown Silverwrath and loved Z'ai. On the night that Datsieli and her brother and sister were conceived, Steira slept with them both.

After the greenflight, Steira and Z'ai moved in together. Steira never told anyone about her night with S'nar, so Datsieli, Saren, and Zaister all believed that they were full siblings.

Steira fostered her children. Saren went to an old friend at Fort, and Zaister to Steira's parents, the Lord and Lady of Keroon. Datsieli, meanwhile, was raised in the creche at Igen. She was very much in contact with her parents growing up, and even saw her siblings from time to time. She gave the creche workers headaches on an almost daily basis with her incessant chatter and dependency. She became a ringleader of sorts among the weyrbrats, always causing mayhem.

When Steira died in a Fall, Datsieli sobered very quickly. She stopped making mischief so much and cried by herself. It was suggested that she transfer, and she accepted that idea, setting out for Mountain Song.

Datsieli made friends slowly, starting to come out of her shell -- before she met a rider named S'nar who had known Steira at Keroon. Then, at Turn's End, just after she'd Impressed green Tilarth, she overheard a conversation between S'nar and her grandparents that made the happiest day of her life a lot sadder. It turned out that Steira's parents drove her away from S'nar, who she had loved. And she also learned that there was a possibility that S'nar, not Z'ai, was her father. She was hurt, and pulled away from S'nar, throwing herself into Weyrling training. She and two other Weyrlings, Dakial and Meara, pulled a prank on the boys, helping her feel more confident about her social circle at the Weyr.

Description: Pale, slender, and long in frame. Her hide is the color of new leaves in the spring, varying from tail to nose by a single shade. Delicate, but strong.

Personality: Methodical and arrogant, Tilarth is very sure of herself even at her young age. She has all the self confidence in the world and likes to be sure of things before acting on them.
