Description: Short black hair, green eyes, 5'11" 160lbs. D'nel likes to dress comfortably, usually in a pair of casual pants and a loose shirt. He has dress clothes that he wears only for special occasions. He doesn't have a particular style or color that he wears exclusively. He just wears things that he likes and catches his eye.

Personality: D'nel is an easy going rider. He is quick-witted, and likes to get in the last word. He is not quarrelsome, but he will defend himself or another if he thinks they need it. He is friendly to other riders, male and female, with no expectations in return. He can be flirtatious, but his attentions to the opposite sex is rarely more than friendly. He doesn't persue a relationship. He thinks it may interfere with his duty as Wingleader. He defers to his dragon when it comes to the affairs of the heart. D'nel was raised to honor dragon riders, and now that he is one, he tries to live up to the expectations he thinks a dragon rider should. He regards honor and discipline as a dragon rider's two main traits. He strongly encourages co-operation and teamwork in his wing riders.

History: Darrnel was born in a hold up north into a family of glass smiths. His family moved south soon after. He helped out in the family craft, but he was taken on search to Fort Weyr before he was apprenticed. D'nel impressed Ebonth his second time on the sands. His natural leadership and organization skills put him in the position of Wing Second. After only a few turns, he was given his own wing. When he heard of the new Weyr forming, he decided on a change of scenery, and requested transfer to Mountain Song Weyr.

Personality: Ebonth is very much like his rider. He is easy going and friendly. He is all business when it comes to training and drilling. He has not settled down with any dragon, and doesn't fly every green or Jr. queen to rise. He is waiting for "the one". Ebonth likes to relax and sun bathe, and will occasionally go for a swim in the ocean. He isn't fond of firelizards.
