Candidate Braeden

Player: T'star

Persona's Name: Braeden
Age: 18
Rank: Sr. Apprentice Woodcrafter, Apprentice

Physical Description: While not towering, he is tall, his frame lean. He will never be bulky, but the hard wire of his spare frame indicates a power, mere bulk cannot guarantee. His shock of buff colored curls hang in disarray upon his head. Three or four locks persistently hang in his amber/gold eyes, in almost a calculated rumpledness. His face is set on planes, only mitigated by a rare smile.

Personality: Braeden is the more intense of the two, though the differences tend to be subtle, especially when they’re together. He has a competitive edge that Buroughs never picked up on. The most obvious differences are their tempers. Braeden is quick to anger and slow to forgive. The greater the perceived offense the more likely he is to never let the issue rest. He is subtler and more vindictive than his twin, though takes pains to hide it. He is also fiercely protective of his brother, even though he is in constant, subtle competition with him.

Gender and sexual preference: Male, heterosexual

History: Braeden was born a mere 10 min after his brother, Buroughs and has been in subtle competeition with him ever since. Buroughs, much to Braeden’s annoyance does seem to be aware of the competition. As children Braeden was always trying to outdo his twin, even at the expense of /not/ out doing some of the other children. Though should any of the aforementioned children get the idea to pick on either of the twins the other was rather immediately there to convince them of the folly of that notion. No one was allowed to pick on Buroughs but Braeden... and vice versa.

The two quickly joined the rest of the rather independently minded group of woodsmen who made their home at Darklight hold... or more accurately, whatever part of the forest they happened to be in when thread wasn’t falling. The pair being the third eldest in the family, had a great deal of responsibility on them as they were growing. By the time they were 8 they were taking over from their eldest sister and elder brother in watching their younger siblings and doing house hold chores.

Buroughs and Braeden were always close as children, though as they grew they developed separate, if related, interests. Buroughs preferred to be out in the woods as their father was, usually with a roll of hides and a waterproof container for map making. Braeden much preferred to work with harvested wood in carvings and other wise. When they were old enough they were apprenticed to the local journeymen in the Hold, Buroughs working under their father, Braeden under one of his associates.

While both showed competence and even expertise in their chosen areas, neither has yet made journeyman, though Braeden is simply a final project away from the rank. Buroughs’s advancement being far less certain. While Braeden is determined to make rank before his brother, Buroughs doesn’t seem overly worried about making rank at all.

Pets:
Name: Elare
Species: Firelizard
Color: Green
Age: 6
Appearance: A light frosty green, her slender frame is remarkably free of variation. Her head and neck are a trifle too long for her breadth. Her shoulders support slender, almost Sylvan wings. Her delicate haunches flow into a long almost wispy tail.
Personality: From the same clutch as Buroughs’ Calgary she’s completely opposite in personality. She’s a cheerful helpful loving little creature and patently adores her pet, and willingly deals with other people. She’s not that bright, but her temperament has made her eminently trainable and reliable.

Crafter: Yes
Craft: Woodcraft
Rank: Sr. Apprentice
Specialties: Containers with secret and/or trick compartments.

Candidate: Yes
Color Suggestions: Blue/Brown/Bronze
Name Suggestions: Mordrath, Eroth, Keladreth
Personality Suggestions: Dark and large if blue (water based), earth tones/average size for brown, and reddish but small for bronze (fire base). Quirks based on the elemental base, but for any of them on the arrogant side, with a strong sense of what is /his/ (though it may not always be properly applied). As with Buroughs I don’t want them getting ‘matched’ dragons
