She likes to spend her free time riding the runners with Calin, hiking in the nearby mountains, and talking with her beloved. She has an independent streak in her that has proven to be useful when running their small but prosperous cothold.

History: Aquarina was born the middle daughter to Nerat Hold in the north. The most desired children are always the eldest, or youngest daughters. Not the middle one. Rina begged her father to find her a prosperous husband to marry like he had done for her other sisters. But all of the prosperous young men so well known to Pern were already engaged or married.Finally he found a small, but rich, little cothold down south. They weren't recognized as an official hold yet but they had some of the finest Canine breeds on Pern. Rina agreed to give it a try. She was sent to 
marry whoever inherited the hold. Which caused a problem, since the Lady wanted Kindrel, the second eldest to take over, while the Lord preferred Heilar. Kindrel became increasingly interested in Aquarina though she was meant for his elder brother, until one morning he was suddenly gone. Later word came that he had founded his own cothold, and found a wife. Unexpectedly, Rina and Heilar fell in love without Kindrel in the way. The two were married soon and inherited the Hold after a tragic accident that killed Heilar's parents. Two turns later Aquarina gave birth to their first son, Calin.

Rouge is small for a green. She's dainty and basically cute. Her body is dark green with reddish-brown coloring smattered in, especially all over her face. She looks like a palomino wher. She is devoted to Rina.

Calin is rough and tumble. He's built strong, even for one so young.  His hair is the same near white-blond of his mother, and her delicate complexion. He has the sturdy body of his father, and much of his humor. His eyes are dark brown, even darker than Heilar's.
