Description: 6ft 2in, 215lbs. Short dark brown hair, lightly shot through with strands of grey, dark brown eyes, deeply tanned skin. Scars from swords and knives over lap her back and stomach in a now faint webwork on thin lines. Her wardrobe consists of an almost unnatural abundance of leathers in shades of brown, blue, grey, and black. She never owns more than two dresses at a time and that includes feasting gowns. She has one pair of slippers and half a dozen pairs of boots. The key words to her style being comfortable and durable.

Personality: Amzona is ferociously loyal to Aria, P'rrin and Masterharper Bertram, but not always in that order. After one heartbreak too many, 
Bronzerider G’ran has lost his place in her confidence and her loyalites. She tends to be abrupt and short tempered with people who've caused 
pain to those she cares about, but is otherwise fairly outgoing for a woman who prefers the solitude of the Drum Heights.

History:  Born the youngest child of a Master Smith, Amzona was expected to fall in line with her older siblings and cousins but her interest lay in rhythms and musical beats. After a much different kind of beating the hold's Harper managed to get the tall, muscular girl to the Harper Hall where her first obvious talent was put to use as a Drum Apprentice. Her next obvious talent was getting into trouble with Aria and Geran (now G'ran). But being a Drum Apprentice allowed Amzona to develop other talents for the Master Harper's use. She became skilled with throwing daggers and blending into crowds in spite of her height (which had been useful in her home hold), she quickly achieved the skill of making people believe she was some one else entirely. Eventually she was paired with a Journeyman Harper named Darren and employed in the less straight forward means of gathering information for the Master Harper. While attempting to gain information and hopefully infiltrait a band of raiders in the High Reaches, Darren (by then Amzona's lover) was killed and she was left for dead. Some long months after the attack Bertram sent his "Hidden Knife" to the South where she was reunited with her oldest friends and made a new one who quickly became very dear to her. Shortly after that Amzona Impressed a Blue dragon from the stands. Xanth was greatly amused by her heartfelt announcement to the Weyr's Harper that it wasn't her fault. It was actually impressing the massive blue that brought a halt to the vague thoughts of suicide that Amzona was entertaining.

Recently Amzona has given birth to twins, Berton and Astaria, fathered by her long time friend and unrequited love, G’ran. Although she and G’ran 
might not even be friends any more, Amzona understands that she has to let go of all of those broken dreams and live her life for herself and her 
children. She could forgive him for not wanting her, after all he never really had wanted her, but she might never forgive him for not even looking 
at their children after their birth.

Dragon Description: Xanth has a bright saphire blue hide, but he is outright huge for a blue. He's only slightly smaller than a middle sized brown, and he knows it.
Dragon Personality: Deadly serious when it comes to fighting or keeping his trouble-prone rider out of danger, Xanth becomes something of a goofball when there's time and space to properly relax. He loves chasing Greens and is ready and willing to chase a Gold if only Amzona would let him!
Strength's Weaknesses: Xanth's memory for tasks that are often repeated is increadibly strong. He's often foolishly brave when fighting thread, and a complete dimglow at times, but he's always very much aware of the near overwhelming grief that drew him to his rider. Although Amzona's grief has dimmed over the years Xanth is still very much in a mental time when he was one of a few thin strands that kept his beloved rider from throwing herself from the heights she loves so much. The bond between rider and dragon is their greatest strength, but it can also be their greatest weakness if they lose themselves too much in each other's minds.
