Description: Aeric is tall and lanky, with jet-black hair cropped close to his head. His brown eyes are reluctant to look at others. He stands 
out in a crowd only because of his height, the rest of the time he tries to blend in. He always dresses casually, in mute shades on his tunic and pants. 

Personality: Aeric is rather shy, and will only speak when spoken to. He has a lot of loyalty to his friends, those that he makes. He doesn't like to talk to people a lot, though. He's always been fond of dragons, and fascinated with how they work. He doesn't like to open up to anyone, and gets touchy if a person presses a subject he really doesn't want to talk about.

History: Born at a lesser hold of Keroon, he didn't stay there for long. His family has lived at just about every northern major hold in the north, and a Weyr or two along the way. The most recent location is Telgar Hold, as they wanted to be closer to Aeric. At a stop at High Reaches when Aeric was 7, a dragonhealer noticed Aeric's fascination with dragons and suggested to his parents that perhaps he should consider becoming a dragonhealer. Aeric was thrilled by the idea of making his passion his life's work and was eager to go off until he learned that he'd have to leave his sister behind. Aeric and Maelie were really close, and he almost didn't leave his family to become a dragonhealer. His love for all sorts of animals overcame his fears, and he went off to be apprenticed. He spent some time in the Healer Hall, where he was picked on because of his shy nature. He lived in fear, until a fellow student Ianten stepped in and deflected the teasing. Aeric had already come to terms with his sexual preference, and he and Ianten often shared a bed. When they both became Journeymen, Aeric was sent to Telgar Hold, and Ianten to Igen Hold. As 
a present for walking the tables, Aeric received a firelizard egg that hatched to reveal a blue. He named him Jolt because he was so energetic. Aeric wasn't about to give up on the best relationship he'd ever had. Jolt spent a lot of time between Igen and Telgar, but it was always a one way trip.

When B'maan Impressed at the latest Mountain Song Hatching, Aeric was sent down to take his place and assist Master Canaan.
