Description: Illira is short, only about 5' 5'', with a slender waist, but well endowed bosom, and gentle curves everywhere else, with toned - though not bulky - muscle underneath. Her hair is a shiny honey gold, and her eyes a very dark emerald green. Her clothing is usually very functional, though also often slightly flirty as well, with a ruffle on a neckline, or in deep jewel tone colors. 

Personality: Confident, flirtatious at times, and clever, Illira is not afraid to speak her mind, and does so with a ready wit, and is well spoken when the occasion calls for it. Responsible, and capable of being very serious when it comes to work, though she definitely enjoys having a good time. She's got a presence such that one might mistake her charismatic personality for one more suited to a harper than a winecrafter. Yet she usually manages not to come across as arrogant, which she is not.

History: Illira is the daughter of farmcrafters in a small Cot Hold beholden to High-Reaches Hold. The eldest of nine, she worked hard to help her parents, but was never very interested in being the heir to the small Hold. Fortunately, her brother who was just a year younger than she - Urlin - was perfect for the role. So Illira was allowed to go practice the craft she was most interested in, the winecraft. It was one for which she showed immediate talent, having the skill to pick out the best fruits and grains, and the patience to properly make them into ales and wines, and eventually more specialized drinks. She apprenticed at age nine, and made Journeywoman at the age of only fourteen, then was Searched and taken to High Reaches Weyr, where she Impressed Green Mintath at the age of 16. She did her training and remained at High-Reaches. While at High-Reaches she spent a couple of turns as weyr-mate with a brownrider who died in threadfall. They had a daughter, Rania, who was fostered out at a young age. Illira had a few casual relationships after that, but nothing spectacular or serious. The serious stuff tended to get painful, or inconvenient, though she still kept on friendly terms with her child when they saw each other. Turns later, Illira heard about Mountain Song and, to escape the over-crowding up North, she was more than happy to transfer.

Little changed for Illira at Mountain Song. She enjoyed being closer to her daughter, who had transferred there as well, and continuing to work hard as a functional wingrider. She also offered herself up as a regular replacement in the flight weyr for anyone who needed someone. It was no bother for her, and convenient for riders who were pregnant, ill, or had a preferred mate.
