Candidate Information

Rules:

1. Treat all dragons and their riders, Queen or not, as if they sit on a place higher in rank than a Lord Holder, just so you don't slip up with a dragon or rider of high standing.

2. Don't go straight to the Weyrleaders, Headwoman, or Master Healers with any problem. Go to the Candidate Master. Chances are she can fix it. Those are very busy people who have a Weyr to run.

3. Follow the given schedule unless otherwise posted on the board next to the entrance. Which means checking it every morning for changes.

4. A Candidate may not acquire any new pets during Candidacy.

5. A Candidate is not allowed to carry on a relationship with a significant other. A pregnancy can disqualify you from standing on the sands.

6. There is no hierarchy in the Barracks. All are now of the same rank no matter where you were born to whom. Same goes for people of multiple standings. You are all equal now.

7. No Candidate will be allowed consumption of alcoholic beverages during Candidacy without Healer's orders.

8. All Candidates are provided with ONE trunk in which to store personal belongings. If more is required, that is your responsibility. If a lock is required, see the Headwoman for one. Theft WILL NOT be tolerated.

9. After lights out, each sex will stay to their assigned side of the Barracks unless an emergency occurs.
