Description: A tall, somewhat lanky, though well muscled man (6' even, 200lbs), with dark brown, slightly shaggy hair which he keeps trimmed relatively short, though his bangs are often grow faster and tend to fall across his forehead. His eyes are such a dark brown as to be nearly black, and he tends to wear deep russets and browns as his choice of clothing, because it's easier to keep clean than lighter colors, so he doesn't have to trouble with special washes.

Personality: Fairly relaxed, laid back, D'enthe will do his share of the work, though doesn’t usually volunteer for anything beyond that except for a good cause. His dragonrider duties count as a 'really good cause.' Great around a fire with a drink when it comes to telling jokes and stories. He can win over a crowd when he feels like it, or sit back and be almost entirely ignored; a flexibility that he finds most useful. Not above the occasional mildly dangerous expedition just for a few thrills, and he's certainly got some childhood stories! D'enthe is comfortable with himself, and has his own ego, though it's not nearly as pronounced as his dragon's, and only in areas where he *knows* he deserves the praise he gets for his work.

History: Denthed was born the son of a smith and a healer at Ista Hold. The third of four children, he often found himself in the shuffle of family craziness, and tagging along after his older siblings, the other middle child being a full seven turns older than he. It was lonely at first, until he discovered he had the ability to get -and keep- an audiences's attention. He even had the talent of being able to lead them off on adventures. He attempted both of his parents crafts as he got older -mostly at his parents urgings to keep him out of trouble- but he discovered that he wasn't strong enough for full Smith work, nor was he good at Healing. He couldn't wrap a bandage without making it too tight, or mixing the herbs wrong, fortunately without dangerous consequences.

It was much to his surprise, as well as his parents, that he took an interest in the local glass-smith's work, and even had some talent at it! So at the age of eight -it couldn't be too soon- Denthed was Apprenticed to the Glass-smith of Ista Hold. He made Journeyman at fifteen, and shipped out to Southern Hold. It wasn’t quite what he expected, and he wasn’t allowed to be as creative as he liked under his new Master. He was needed there, and wasn’t allowed to transfer out. Several turns later, while making a delivery to Delandri Weyr, he got it into his head that it might be interesting to stand. The Dragon rider life seemed appealing. So he decided to give it a go, and Impressed Bronze Cauldrenth at his second Hatching at the age of 21.

D’enthe found that he excelled in Weyrling training. He was physically fit, and enjoyed the challenges it brought. Once trained, he and Cauldrenth transferred out to the Benden post, doing mostly carrier work, and policing the area, including under-cover work within Bitra Hold itself to see about dealing with some of their less legal activities.
