Personality:
Bryami is not a stereotypical red head.  She is rather shy, not really knowing how to talk with other people, especially men.  She often seems abrupt with others, but this is just her way of dealing when she feels like she is over her head.  Contrary to this, if you put her in an infirmary, she is quite able to converse and work with her peers and patients.
Bryami is very set in her ways, and what she sticks by what she believes in, even when there is blatent evidence to support a differant opinion.  She is hard working and caring, often thinking of others before she thinks of herself, and never openingly resenting it.
Bryami is extremely loyal to her friends once they get past her prickly outer layer.  At the moment she is very cynical in regaurds to friends, see history. As for her situation on lovers, she has never had one, though seems to be developing into a rather monogamous person, unless future events change (and they will)

History:Bryami was born to travelling traders.  Their names are unknown.  Bryami was abandoned at the Healer Hall when she was about a turn and a half old.  Due to her malnutritioned state, it was thought that her parents had suffered a bad year and were unable to cope with a young child also.
She was fostered out to a pair of Healers, Ander and Raela,  and their four older boys (Torm 20, Marno 22, Simal 23 and Dally 25).  Bryami thrived in this environment, and grew up as one of the boys.  Unfortunately, as her foster brothers got older and were posted away, she grew apart from all accept Dally, the oldest.
When she was old enough, Bryami was apprenticed into her foster parents craft.  She loves Healing as a profession, and was working towards walking the tables in another year or two.  During her aprentice years, she changed from a slightly gawky tom boy into a rather beautiful young lady.
Her beauty drew many stares from people, Healers and outsiders alike.  Unfortunately, it also attracted unwanted attention, especially from one of the master healers, Zake.  Best described by Bryami as a lecherous old man, he was determined to have her as his wife.  Over this last turn, his advances had become more insistant, until Bryami told him that she would rather service every dragonrider left on Pern then spend one night in his bed.  He then attempted to take her by force.  Fury and fear gave her strength that she didn't have, and she managed to fight him off before he could succeed in raping her.  She fled in tears to her fostermother and to her friends, who basically told her that she should have just lain there and taken it.  She was so hurt and angry, that she then fled on foot with nothing but what she was wearing, to see her brother Dally.  It was he that told her about the clutch hardening at Delandri.  It was also he that paid for a dragonrider to take her down there to stand, though he did not have enough marks to buy any more then a spare set of clothes for her.
