Description: 6' even, well-muscled in build with wavy reddish-brown hair kept fairly short, and gray-hazel eyes. He tends to wear functional clothing most of the days, those his formals are simply cut, but usually of elegant fabrics as befitting Holder status.

Personality: A serious, work-a-holic, perfectionist. A'tthos is used to being right, mostly because he usually doesn't express an opinion or idea unless he's thought it through. He tends to speak from experience, or find someone else who knows better. However, if he has a perfectly valid option, he will be stubborn about it! He's also a diplomat when necessary, and very fair, so he's fairly well liked most of the time. He's not nearly as arrogant as his dragon, fortunately!

History: Aetthos was the third child of a minor holder. He had one older brother (Aerlos) who was heir, and an older sister (Peitra), but his brother had little interest in being heir and never took the job seriously. Aetthos would have loved the chance to run things and make sure it all went well and learn all the ins and outs, but his father insisted the eldest be heir. Still, Aetthos was allowed to follow along and picked up on a lot more than his father necessarily realized. He also wasn't interested in the fact that his father preferred to choose his children's partners. His brother was forced to marry a stout young woman -a fifth daughter- from another minor hold nearby, and his sister an aging holder whose first wife had died in childbirth and who was desperately in need of an heir. It was unsurprising - to Aetthos anyway- when Aerlos ran off and joined the Smithcraft, leaving behind his wife and three young brats. With Peitra chained to her husband, Aetthos' father t urned to his youngest child to make him heir. The day before it was officially to be announced, Aetthos travelled to Honshu Weyrhold, and signed up to stand in the next clutch. His father was furious, but as Aetthos had made the obligation, his father determined to wait until he failed and then drag him home. At the next clutch Aetthos, then fifteen, Impressed bronze Magnath. Sometime, right after Weyrlinghood, he sired a daughter.

Ten turns after Impression, the old Weyrholder of Honshu died, and A'tthos' Magnath  - they were a Wingleader pair by the time - was the next Bronze to catch the current Weyrwoman's Gold. For the next ten turns, A'tthos put what he had learned from his father's hold -and his own observations and experiences- to use, continuing to keep Honshu a prosperous and functional Weyrhold.

Personality: Arrogant and cocky; because Magnath knows just how good he really is in a flight and, being the Weyrholder's dragon, the golds keep coming to *him!*
